Digging up the past:

The Ela Historical Society and Museum on Sunday, Oct. 16, will host a presentation on the past and present facts about the Lake Zurich and Fairfield cemeteries. The presentation is set for 2 p.m. at the museum, 95 E. Main St., Lake Zurich. Jim Johnson will explore who started the cemeteries, when, which is the oldest and how they have changed over the years.
