Rosie O'Donnell making herself at home in Chicago

Rosie O'Donnell says she is loving Chicago.

The comedian and talk show host says she recently bought a home in Chicago, where she's taping her new show at Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Studios. “The Rosie Show” premieres Monday on the Oprah Winfrey Network. O'Donnell says she didn't know much about the city, but now she's “astounded by the beauty.”

The mother of four and New York native says she's tried Chicago-style deep-dish pizza and taken a tour of the Grant Park area around Buckingham Fountain. She calls Chicago “epically beautiful.” O'Donnell says she's received a warm welcome and good will from Chicagoans.

One thing may not be so warm for O'Donnell: Chicago winters. She says she's worried and feels like she's “getting ready for the frozen tundra.”
