Hoffman Estates holds Hispanic Heritage fair

The Village of Hoffman Estates Cultural Awareness Commission is proud to celebrate the community’s diverse culture by sponsoring a Hispanic Heritage Day Fair.

This year’s event takes place on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Ed and Mary Hennessy Room at the Village Hall, 1900 Hassell Road.

Enjoy an afternoon of the sights, sounds and tastes of Hispanic culture. The event will be highlighted by the music of Latin acoustical guitar player and singer Jose Verduzco. Also, children will be able to enjoy fun

activities, such as storytelling, and, of course, the ever-popular piñata.

“I am very excited about this year’s event, and hope we have a great turnout,” said Cultural Awareness Commissioner Sandra Lahoz.

Bring the entire family to this fun-filled festival, and be prepared to get your body moving to the music!
