3 youths arrested for damage at C. Ind. school

KOKOMO, Ind. — Police have arrested three juveniles on charges that they broke into a central Indiana high school and caused extensive damage.

Kokomo police say the youths face felony charges of burglary and criminal mischief for the weekend break-in at Kokomo High School. Police say an anonymous caller named the three youths and that they admitted to the burglary.

Authorities say damage to the nearly 2,000-student school included several broken windows and was concentrated in office areas as those responsible were apparently looking for money.

Police say two of the youths arrested are from Kokomo, while the other is from Noblesville. Their ages weren’t released.
