Lynch joins Sikich’s nonprofit service team

SPRINGFIELD — Sikich LLP said Richard Lynch has joined the firm as a partner on Sikich’s nonprofit services team.

Lynch has more than 12 years of public accounting experience serving clients in several industries including nonprofit, health care, government, and financial institutions. He has been responsible for leading audits, agreed upon procedures, and internal audit engagements in these industries.

Lynch earned his bachelor of science degree in accounting at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with honors. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Illinois CPA Society.

Lynch has an active role in the community and is involved with Looking-for-Lincoln, Leadership Springfield and Refuge Ranch.

Lynch will be responsible for providing nonprofit clients with audit, tax, and consulting services.
