Cain shows tea party is not racist
On Saturday, Sept. 24, African American presidential candidate Herman Cain won the Florida straw poll by 37 percent. He beat out front runners Mitt Romney and Rick Perry. According to the most recent IBOPE Zogby interactive poll, Herman Cain still leads by 38 percent. What does this show? That conservative Republicans and the tea party are not racists as portrayed by the media. Conservatives do not dislike President Obama’s skin color or race, just his policies and socialist agendas. Herman Cain stands for economic growth, job creation through lower taxes and less government regulations, and the preservation of life. His skin color played no part in his surprise win. His ideas did.
