First Friday in Libertyville:

First Friday will be celebrated in downtown Libertyville from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7. Shops and restaurants welcome residents with a variety offerings. Touché Salon will begin its monthlong breast cancer fundraiser with a color/cut-a-thon (appointments are necessary), silent auction/raffles and munchies; soup will be on at Someone’s in the Kitchen and the Christian Science Reading Room will present “10 Years Later: Love is the Victor”, a spiritual response to remembering Sept. 11.
