Shine a light on adults with Asperger’s

I want to thank you for running the AP article about Aspiritech and finally calling attention to the adult autistic community. I have Asperger’s syndrome and experience enough sensory challenges that I cannot work in any regular working environment. Unfortunately, there is no such company in the Carpentersville/Dundee area at this time.

I hope the Aspiritech model will catch on. I also read the “lost generation” article in the following day’s publication. I am 32, have an IQ of 110. I lack purpose in my life. My only refuge is my camera; my mom my only advocate. I have much to give if someone is willing to take a chance on me.

The recession can’t last forever. I can’t be the only one in the Fox Valley with Asperger’s.
