Arlington Heights art exhibit showcases local talent

Great art and a few surprises show up at the 10th annual Arlington Artists on Display exhibit, at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum now through December.

Forty-four local artists worked on pieces in a variety of media: watercolor; oil; pen and ink; pencil; acrylic; mixed media; pastel; paper; photographic based imagery; textiles; wood and clay.

The Heritage Gallery and Shop is on the Arlington Heights Historical Museum Campus at 112 W. Fremont St. Gallery hours are 1:30-4:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The suggested donation is $2.
