Mundelein High names Mustang Pride award winners

Five Mundelein High School students earned Mustang Pride awards for September. They and their families were the guests of honor at a breakfast hosted by Principal Lauren Fagel.

Annie Daab was nominated for the award by Julie Wheeler and Jed Doyle for Unsolicited Good Deeds; Aileen MacDonald was nominated by Tom Weber for Service to Others, Unsolicited Good Deeds and Leadership; Joshua Randolph was nominated by Sandy Weir for Unsolicited Good Deeds; Daniel Ortega was nominated by Sandy Weir for Leadership and Integrity; and Jesus Zarate was nominated by Ana Valassis for Academic Persistence.

Mustang Pride awards are presented each month to students who are nominated in a variety of categories by members of the MHS faculty and staff.

“These students exemplify first class behaviors and we are proud to have them as students in our high school,” Fagel explained.
