Eagle Club of Elgin plans benefit to help family who lost home to fire

The Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1047 of Elgin will hold a fundraiser for the Danny Pace family, who recently lost their Gilberts home to a fire. The fundraiser will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Eagles Club, 325 Raymond St., off Tyrell Road in Gilberts.

Tickets are $15 per person. Those attending will be treated to a pig roast luncheon which will be served at 3 p.m. There also will be a cash bar available. Also featured will be a silent auction, 50/50 raffles, and other miscellaneous raffles will be going on throughout the afternoon.

All proceeds will go to the Danny Pace family; come out and help them to get back on their feet.

For information, call the Eagles Club at (847) 695-7919. If you cannot make the fundraiser, mail-in donations would be welcome. Make out a check to The Danny Pace Family and send to the Eagles Club at 325 Raymond St., Gilberts, IL 60136.
