Palatine's Bridge the Gap Walk on Oct. 1
The third annual Bridge the Gap Walk will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Palatine Township Elementary District 15 administrative office, 580 N. First Bank Drive, Palatine.
The event benefits the Bridge Youth & Family Services, which provides counseling, mentoring and education for youth and families facing emotional and behavioral problems.
Palatine Mayor Jim Schwantz and Rolling Meadows Mayor Tom Rooney will serve as walk marshals.
The cost is $5 or $10 for kids and $20 for adults.
