Bonner Country Fair coming to Lindenhurst

Enjoy farm animals, wagon and pony rides, crafts and live entertainment at the Bonner Farm Country Fair, Sunday, Oct. 2.

The event runs from noon to 4 p.m. at the Lake County Forest Preserves’ Bonner Heritage Farm, on Country Place, off Sand Lake Road, just west of Route 45, Lindenhurst.

Experience the fun of an old-fashioned country fair with wagon rides, face painting, pony rides, and a petting zoo. Play old-fashioned games and guess the weight of our giant pumpkin.

Paint a pumpkin or gourd in our craft area and help construct a scarecrow at our scarecrow making station. Explore the site’s hands-on exhibits, including an activity maze, weather station and oversized farm animal cutouts.

Visitors are invited to bring a picnic and enjoy the live entertainment.

Admission to the Bonner Farm Country Fair is $3 per person. Children 3 and under are free.
