Raymond Grady joins NCH Board of Directors

Raymond Grady is the newest member of the Northwest Community Healthcare Board of Directors. The Arlington Heights resident attended his first meeting as an NCH director today.

“Ray is an accomplished healthcare administrator who brings a wealth of experience to our hospital,” said Bruce Crowther, the hospital's president and CEO. “We're thrilled to have him on board.”

Grady, 60, is a strategic leader who has helped build the NorthShore University HealthSystem in Evanston and Aurora Health Care System in Milwaukee into leading providers of comprehensive health services. He presently serves as chief administrative officer at Aurora Health Care.

“I enjoy making a positive difference in how healthcare is provided in the community,” Grady said. “It's an ever-changing industry that requires dedication and experience to stay on top.”

Grady holds a master's degree in Hospital and Health Services Administration from Ohio State University, and also received a Diversity Champion Award and Distinguished Graduate Award from Ohio State. He has served as chairman of the Illinois Hospital Association, and spent four years on the Board of Trustees for the American Hospital Association, among his many professional affiliations.

He was elected to a one-year term by the NCH Board of Directors. New members are appointed to one-year terms for each of the first three years, and then to three-year terms after that.

The NCH Board of Directors is a volunteer board made up of community members and business leaders. The Board meets monthly, and governs Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights and its satellite facilities. For more information about NCH, visit www.nch.org.
