Help Bartlett woman get to Pillsbury Bake-Off

Rebecaa Farias-Insco of Barlett hopes to get to the 45th Pillsbury Bake-Off and she needs your help.

The Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest is letting You Be the Judge!, allowing consumers a chance to choose who gets a shot at $1 million at the Bake-Off Contest finals in Orlando next year.

Your readers can visit bakeoff.com for official rules and to vote for Farias-Insco's Marmalade Pinwheels with Orange Mascarpone as it faces off against Key Lime Pie Cinnamon Rolls entered by Andrea Yacyk of Sebastian, Fla. Voting ends Wednesday, Sept. 28 and the home cook whose recipe receives the most votes will become one of 100 finalists competing at the granddaddy of cook-offs March 25-27, 2012.

In 2010 Amy Winters, also of Barlett, was a contendor in the Dinner Made Easy category with her Deep Dish Sausage Patty Pizza. The $1 million prize that year went to Sue Compton of Delanco, N.J. for her Mini Ice Cream Cookie Cups. Those recipe, as well as recipes from past Bake-Off competitions, are available at www.bakeoff.com.
