FBI: Carol Stream bank robbed
The FBI and Carol Stream Police Department area investigating a bank robbery that occurred Monday night.
The Carol Stream branch of West Suburban Bank was robbed by a lone man at about 5 p.m. Monday who fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to an FBI statement.
Authorities said the man approached a teller and announced the robbery before being handed the money and fleeing.
No one was injured during the robbery.
