Pitching matchups: The Cubs’ Casey Coleman (2-8) vs. Chris Narveson (10-7) Monday at 7:05 p.m.; Randy Wells (7-4) vs. Shaun Marcum (12-7) Tuesday at 7:05 p.m.; Matt Garza (8-10) vs. Randy Wolf (13-9) Wednesday at 1:20 p.m.

At a glance: The first-place Brewers entered Sunday with a magic number of 5 to clinch the NL Central, so it’s conceivable they could do it at Wrigley Field this week. The Cubs are 4-9 against the Brewers, 3-1 at Wrigley. Milwaukee’s Ryan Braun entered Sunday leading the NL in batting (. 333), runs (101), slugging (. 595) and total bases (315). Prince Fielder is among the league leaders in home runs and RBI. John Axford entered Sunday second in saves (43). Few Cubs match up well against Narveson, but Jeff Baker is 5-for-13 vs. Narveson and 9-for-21 vs. lefty Randy Wolf. The Cubs’ Coleman has not won since May 19.
