South suburban man killed in Indiana plane crash
NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — Police say those killed when a small plane crashed into a suburban Indianapolis golf course are both 21-year-old men.
Noblesville police identify the pilot as Joshua Deboer of South suburban Chicago Heights and the passenger as Joseph Neuzerling of Noblesville.
Witnesses say the plane was flying normally Thursday afternoon just before it suddenly spiraled into the ground at Noblesville’s Harbour Trees Golf Club, which winds through a neighborhood along Morse Reservoir. No injuries were reported on the ground.
Police say federal aviation investigators are returning to the golf course Friday to try to determine what caused the crash.
