P&G launches site for Latin women

CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble Co. has launched an online site aimed at Latin women that offers beauty and household tips, inspirational stories, and information about some of its consumer products.

The www.orgullosa.com site is part of a Hispanic Heritage Month initiative and also of P&G’s increased marketing to U.S. Hispanics. The name of the site is Spanish for “proud.”

The fast-growing group now accounts for 16 percent of the nation’s population.

The bilingual site features P&G products including Olay skin cream, CoverGirl makeup and Febreze air fresheners.
