Big Ten standout a great example
I really liked Chuck Goudie’s column in the Sept. 5 Daily Herald’s Good Morning section. It is very refreshing to see that Kirk Cousins, this year’s Big Ten “wunderkind” is very conscious of his privilege as a Big Ten team member, and is equally humble and responsible in his response to the admiration, even adoration that comes his way. This is in stark contrast to some politicians who are acting irresponsibly — having extramarital affairs, abusing privileges that come with their office, even cheating on their tax returns. Let’s hope that Kirk Cousins’ generation will show their parents’ generation a thing or two about integrity.
