Arlington Hts. woman’s art in national show
Tobi Abrams of Arlington Heights has won a place among 30 artists at the Womencenter at Oakland Community College’s annual national women’s art exhibition.
Her work is called “The Rock.”
The juried show at the Orchard Ridge campus in Farmington Hills, Mich., is called “From Our Perspectives.” It runs Sept. 15-Oct. 14 at the Smith Theatre Gallery.
Women submitted more than 300 works of art, and 34 pieces by 30 artists were chosen for the show.
The media are acrylic, oil, textile and clay, photography, ink, pencil, metal, watercolor, and various mixed media and found objects.
