Acclaimed modern dance company Momix makes its Ravinia Festival debut this weekend with the eclectic musical and puppetry-filled piece "Botanica." The third annual Dog Days of Dundee offers entertainment and activities for canines and their human friends. <b>History comes alive</b>

Hundreds of re-enactors from the North West Territory Alliance bring the Revolutionary War to life again at Cantigny's 25th Annual Revolutionary War Reenactment at the park, 1S151 Winfield Road, Wheaton. Redcoats and patriots will engage in battles on Cantigny's Parade Field, complete with cannon and musket fire. Battles will be narrated from the sidelines. Guests can also walk though an encampment to learn about the soldiers' lives outside of battle. Free admission. Parking is $5.
