Sen. Kirk to speak before Wheeling Township Republicans

U.S. Sen. Mark Kirk, a Republican from Highland Park, will speak at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 in Arlington Heights, during an event hosted by local GOP officials.The event, which is open to the public, takes place at the headquarters of Republicans of Wheeling Township, 909 E. Rand Road. #147;Our organization has always had a good working relationship with Sen. Kirk, especially during all those years when he was our congressman,#148; said Ruth O#146;Connell, GOP committeeman. #147;I#146;m delighted that he#146;s coming back this Saturday to tell us what#146;s going on in Washington and what his own priorities are, as well as to listen to ours. Our volunteers have never been shy about sharing their own views with Mark.#148;The Saturday meeting kicks off the 2012 campaign for the local GOP.
