Palatine voters league holds registration drive
The League of Women Voters of the Palatine Area is marking the anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks by encouraging people to register to vote. Certified deputy registrars will be available from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Palatine Public Library, 700 N. Court, and at the Rolling Meadows Library, 3110 Martin Lane. On Sunday, Sept. 11, the registration hours are from 1-4 p.m. at both libraries. Two forms of identification, one with a current address, are needed. A driver’s license is preferred, but a photo ID is not required. The next opportunity to exercise the right to vote is the March 20 primary election.
