Glenbard East creates bullying tip line
Students and their parents at Glenbard East High School in Lombard can now privately report bullying to school administrators via text message.
Through the “Ram Tip Line,” they can submit reports of bullying, harassment or other student safety concerns by dialing 70359, texting the keyword “ramtip,” and entering the message.
Officials say the line isn’t meant to be used in emergencies and they still encourage direct reporting of information to school personnel. Those who provide false, prejudicial or defamatory information will be reported to the appropriate authorities, officials said.
