Summer Sunset Festival

The 11th annual Lake in the Hills Summer Sunset festival will be Friday, Sept. 2, to Sunday, Sept. 4, at Sunset Park, Miller and Albrecht roads in Lake in the Hills. Admission is free. Visit summersunsetfest.com.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 2

3 to 10:30 p.m.: Food vendors and beer garden open

3 to 10:30 p.m.: Carnival open, with all-ride wristbands from 3 to 7 p.m.

6 to 10 p.m.: Classic and Custom Car Show

6:30 to 8 p.m.: Friction performs on the main stage

7 p.m.: Sunset 5K

9 to 10:30 p.m.: Hi Infidelity performs on the main stage

SATURDAY, SEPT. 3

10 a.m.: Parade steps off at the corner of Grafton Farm and Miller roads, then travel east down Miller Road for 1 mile and conclude at the corner of Albrecht and Miller roads.

11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.: Food vendors open

11 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Arts and crafts show

11 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Centegra’s Kids Korner

Noon to 10:30 p.m.: Carnival open, with all-ride wristbands from noon to 4 p.m.

Noon to 10:30 p.m.: Beer garden open

12:30 p.m.: Horseshoe tournament

1 p.m.: Skateboard competition with check-in at 11 a.m.

2 p.m.: Melon Propellin’ competition

2 to 5 p.m.: Battle of the Bands

6:30 to 8 p.m.: Run 4 Cover performs on the main stage

9 to 10:30 p.m.: 7th Heaven performs on the main stage

SUNDAY, SEPT. 4

11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.: Food vendors open

Noon: Baggo tournament with check-in at 11 a.m.

Noon to 5 p.m.: “Sunset Exposure” business expo

Noon to 10:30 p.m.: Carnival open, with all-ride wristbands from noon to 4 p.m.

Noon to 10:30 p.m.: Beer garden open

1 to 5 p.m.: Centegra’s Kids Korner

2 to 4 p.m.: Got Talent? competition

5:30 to 7 p.m.: No Left Turn performs on the main stage

8 to 9:30 p.m.: The Neverly Brothers performs on the main stage
