Barrington mom pleads guilty to hosting underage drinking party

A Barrington mom pleaded guilty this week to charges that she hosted an underage drinking party at her home in July.

A Cook County judge ordered Julie A. McPike, 49, to pay $600 in fines.

Her daughter, Mackenzie McPike, 18, pleaded guilty to consumption of alcohol by a minor and was ordered to perform 80 hours of community service.

A neighbor's complaint about numerous cars parked along the street brought Barrington police to the home located in the 200 block of Beverly Road. Also charged with underage consumption of alcohol were 18-year-olds Samuel J. Oh and Amir G. Singh, both of South Barrington, and Michael W. Ciulini, 18, of Hoffman Estates.

Court records show the judge ordered Oh and Singh to perform 24 hours of community service and Ciulini to perform 32 hours of community service and continued their cases to December.
