Hawthorn Woods fun fest
Hawthorn Woods hosts its Fall Family Fun Fest on Saturday, Sept. 10 at the Aquatic Center. The hours for this free event are 10 a.m. to noon. It includes a Touch-a-Truck, village services booths, complimentary refreshments, arts and crafts for the kids, a LifeSource booth to register for community blood drive and an opportunity to register to win a 2012 Aquatic Center Family Pass. The annual Fall Food Drive will also be held on this date. Participants are asked to bring nonperishable foods, which will be donated to a local food pantry.
