Firefighters responded to the fire just before 3 p.m. Saturday and found significant smoke and flames visible inside the building, officials said.
The shop on the 500 block of Edison Street was a woodworking and cabinetry shop, said Geneva Fire Department Lt. Fred Kriwanek.
A damage estimate was not available Sunday.
