The Grand Opening of Kylemore Greens Park

On Saturday, August 27, from 10:30am to noon, the Des Plaines Park District celebrated the Grand Opening of Kylemore Greens Park, along with friends and families of the neighborhood. Des Plaines Park District Board of Commissioners President, Jana Bishop Haas, cut the ribbon on the new park sign, and Executive Director, John Hecker, welcomed everyone to their newly redesigned park. Children and families enjoyed light refreshments, a basketball skills game on the new half court, free play on the ADA compliant playground equipment, a craft, and family frisbee fun in the park's open space.
