Local McDonald's announce local bike raffle winners

The four McDonald's restaurants of Elk Grove Village are extremely proud to have sponsored the Tour of Elk Grove 2011.

In conjunction with the event, each restaurant raffled off Trek mountain bikes. The raffle names were drawn on Monday, August 15. The lucky winners of the four Trek mountain bikes are as follows:

Zack Stawicki of Elk Grove Village and a seventh-grader at St. James School won the bike from the Biesterfield Road McDonald's.

Another Elk Grove Village resident and longtime McDonald's customer, Fran Carras, won the bike from the Meacham Road McDonald's. Fran plans to give the bike to her 18-year-old grandson who is heading to college this fall.

Miguel Loza of Rolling Meadows won the Busse Road McDonald's bike. Miguel works at Sigmatron International located in Elk Grove Village, just seconds from the McDonald's. Miguel stops by the restaurant weekly for breakfast on his way to work.

And finally, Maria Buintis was the winner of the bike from the McDonald's on Higgins Road.

McDonald's would like to send a warm thank you to the thousands of local residents that entered the raffle and for supporting the McDonald's restaurants of Elk Grove Village.
