Suburban conference to focus on sports, faith

CHICAGO HEIGHTS — A conference entitled “Sports and Faith” will be hosted by a suburban Chicago Catholic High School next month.

Patrick McCaskey will be keynote speaker. The senior director of the Chicago Bears and chairman of Sports Faith International will speak on the subject of his book titled “Sports and Faith: Stories of the Devoted and the Devout.”

The event is the 2011 Bishop Perry Father and Son Conference and is sponsored by the Catholic Men of Chicago Southland and Young Adult Ministry Chicago.

It’ll be at Marian Catholic High School in on Sept. 10.
