Prospect Heights updates roadwork progress

Prospect Heights has issued an update on Phase I of its Road Bond Construction Project. Rob Roy will have concrete completed by end of work on Monday, weather permitting, and drainage work is being done on Pembridge Lane.

Excavation will continue on Marion and Maple and the road is closed to all traffic except emergency vehicles. Contractors hope to have excavation completed by Wednesday. Quaker, Cove and Winkleman have grinding complete and are scheduled for paving on Monday. Work has begun on North and South Parkway, West Kenilworth, Elm, Ridge, Viola and a portion of Pine as well as East Kenilworth, Maple, Creek Court and Carl Court.

The binder coat has been completed on Grego, Leon, Rose, Alderman, Patricia, Coldren and Elaine. The top coat will go on shortly. The project is on schedule. The city will continue to monitor drainage issues and work with the engineers on new culverts and ditching.
