Disabled residents uninjured in Buffalo Grove kitchen fire
Buffalo Grove firefighters put out a small blaze Wednesday afternoon in the kitchen of a home in the 300 Block of Satinwood Court South. The house was occupied by a disabled woman and her disabled mother, who were unable to get out of the home, officials said. No one was injured. The resident reported that while cleaning the oven, it began to smoke and then flames came out. Firefighters aired the home after extinguishing the blaze.
