'Take a Bite out of Hunger' Aug. 17 to support food pantry

Support the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry with "Take A Bite Out of Hunger" on Wednesday, Aug. 17.

Mark your calendar for Wednesday, Aug. 17, and have a wonderful meal by eating out in Glen Ellyn that day and support the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry.

The following restaurants are participating in the pantry's Take A Bite Out Of Hunger event and will generously donate 10% of their sales to the pantry.

Donations slow down in the summer months, but the demand for food does not. Each year we serve thousands of people who need food and hunger does not take a summer vacation.

Simply by enjoying a meal out, you can help to feed hungry families in our community.

The Glen Ellyn Food Pantry is a not-for-profit corporation that serves the Glen Ellyn community and is funded solely through donations and volunteer efforts.
