Leaders lead; this president hasn’t

Isn’t it obvious at this point that President Obama is not a leader? Leaders take on a task and assume the responsibility for all facets of the job; they do not continue to blame virtually everyone else that preceded them when their job performance by all measure continues to decline.

Leaders provide specific direction for major problems; they do not delegate it out and then complain when little gets accomplished.

Leaders need to be positive people who verbally support their constituency; they do not apologize for them to anyone else who will listen.

Leaders should take the low road on visibility; they should not cultivate a rock star celebrity presence in the media and constantly refer to themselves in their speeches.

Leaders should respect the expected conduct of their position; they do not call out specific individuals or organizations by name in the media over differences of opinion.

Leaders are good planners and adhere to guidelines and rules; they do not fail to submit budgets necessary for financial review.

Leaders unify people; they do not start class warfare or panic people unnecessarily over economic issues.

Leaders lead. This president hasn’t.
