Indiana boy, 4, accidentally shot to death

Authorities in suburban Chicago are investigating the death of a 4-year-old boy who accidentally shot himself at a liquor store.

A spokesman for the Cook County medical examiner's office says Ash Wimbley of Cedar Lake, Ind., was pronounced dead Thursday at St. James Hospital and Health Centers in Chicago Heights.

Police say the boy shot himself in the head Thursday morning at a liquor store in Beecher. Investigators are trying to figure out how the child got the gun and who owns it.
