Four youths linked to Des Plaines vehicle burglary spree
Four juveniles have been charged with multiple counts of burglary after Des Plaines police linked them to a spree of vehicle burglaries that occurred on the Fourth of July weekend.
Police said Des Plaines experienced a “rash” of burglary and criminal damage complaints to vehicles on the city’s west side during the night between July 2 and July 3.
Des Plaines police said they were able to clear a total of 30 separate burglary and criminal damage to vehicle cases with the recent arrests.
The four suspects are scheduled to appear in juvenile court.
