Have Obama backers ease national debt

To my knowledge, President Obama has already raised $600 million for his re-election campaign. No one else running for the presidency has that capability, even the richest of them personally.

It seems evident that there are quite a few multimillionaires on his side and they are the ones who have least to lose. Why couldn’t this largesse be used to lower our national debt, which seems to be a much more worthy cause, right?

Why saddle the lowly American without a job by raising taxes when they cannot put food on their table? Maybe “all the president’s men” could put the country back together again.

Why harass the ordinary, hardworking citizen with more taxes and more debt?
