Free-standing Emergency Center now open
Vista’s new Free-standing Emergency Center is now open in Lindenhurst. The center opened Monday at 7 a.m. It has seven treatment rooms, a trauma room, 24/7 availability, board-certificed emergency physicians, FAA-approved helipad for emergency transport, open MRI, Brilliance Big Bore CT scanner, cardiac/vascular ultrasound and diagnostic laboratory. It also includes Vista’s 30 Minute-or-Less E.R. Service Pledge is to make sure patients are seen by a physician or physician extender within 30 minutes or less of their arrival time. The facility is adjacent to the Vista Surgery Center at 1050 Red Oak Lane, south of Grand Avenue in Lindenhurst.
