ComEd on track to restore power everywhere by midnight
ComEd officials said they remain on target to restore power to everyone that lost electricity by Monday’s storm by midnight tonight.
As of 12 p.m., ComEd officials said 29,500 customers remained without power Friday morning, with more than 28,000 of those customers located in ComEd’s northern region.
Officials said they have restored power to 820,000 customers, and that 1,000 crews will be out in the field to to restore power to everyone.
Initially, officials said they intended to have power to 95 percent of their residents by midnight Friday, but that goal was reached by midnight Thursday.
