Library hosts "Kids' Ink" writing club

Kids who like to write novels, poetry, short stories or articles, or would like to try writing, are invited to "Kids' Ink," a new writing club at Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 N. Dunton Ave.

Local author Carol Brendler will help kids, age 10-13, discover new ways to explore the world of words. Kids can share their words with other club members, give and get supportive feedback, soak up tips on conjuring up bold imagery, whipping up suspense, dreaming up irresistible characters, cooking up realistic dialogue and nailing down that surprise ending.

Adult attendance is not required at this program. Kids can register at www.ahml.info.
