Hoffman donates for food pantries

Over the July 4 weekend, Hoffman Estates officials collected $388 for area food pantries. Village Clerk Bev Romanoff made the announcement earlier this week at the village board meeting. Each year, the village collects nonperishable food and cash donations during the Fourth of July parade and throughout the festival weekend. The donations benefit local pantries, including the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry.
