Buffalo Grove endures two more outages

Buffalo Grove sustained two further power outages since the once caused by Monday’s storm in which 6,183 village customers lost electricity. On Wednesday, 153 customers in the Foxhill/Aberdeen area lost power due to an underground cable fault. On Thursday afternoon, 2,200 customers in the area of Weidner, Hapsfield, Stratford and Thornton lost power again, triggering a quick response from ComEd crews, who expected to have the power back on later in the day. As of late Thursday afternoon, only 57 customers in the village remained without power from the original outage.
