Woman's body found 2 days after domestic dispute
LEBANON — Authorities are investigating the death of a southwestern Illinois woman whose body was found in her vehicle two days after a domestic disturbance at the home she shared with relatives.
The Belleville News-Democrat reports a man walking his dog found 25-year-old Valesha Troutman-Foster's body Monday morning inside the Shiloh woman's sport utility vehicle, which was parked on a street near McKendree College in Lebanon.
Shiloh Police Chief Jim Stove said officers on Saturday night had gone to the woman's home in response to a reported domestic disturbance. At the time, Troutman-Foster agreed to leave the home to keep the peace.
St. Clair County Coroner Rick Stone says there were no signs of trauma on Troutman-Foster's body, and lab screenings of the woman's blood were pending.
