East St. Louis girl probe girl's shooting
EAST ST. LOUIS — Police in East St. Louis are trying to figure out how a 13-year-old girl apparently shot herself in the side accidentally outside her home.
The unidentified girl was taken to a hospital after Tuesday night's shooting.
There's no update on her medical status Wednesday. There's also no immediate word on any arrests or charges.
Police didn't say where the girl may have gotten the gun or who owns the firearm.
