Be a part of the team by playing Algonquin softball

Get your friends and co-workers together for the village of Algonquin’s adult softball league. The league is open to participants 17 years of age and older. Games will be one hour in length and will follow the rules of the American Softball Association.

All team rosters can register up to 20 players. The deadline to register will be Friday, July 15.

A mandatory team captains meeting will be held on Thursday, July 21, at the historic village hall, 2 S. Main St.

All rules, regulations, game times and other league logistics will be reviewed at this meeting. A completed team roster will need to be submitted at the team captains meeting.

The team roster forms can be found online at rec.algonquin.org. Please note, the village of Algonquin does not permit liquor in the park sites and/or in the parking lots. The telephone number for inclement weather hotline will be distributed at the team captains meeting. Makeup games for inclement weather cancellations will be held on Wednesday or Friday evenings.
