Allstate declares quarterly dividend of 21 cents
NORTHBROOK — Allstate Corp. is declaring a quarterly dividend of 21 cents per share.
The home and auto insurer said Tuesday that the dividend will be paid on Oct. 3 to shareholders of record on Aug. 31.
Allstate is based in Northbrook, Ill. In May the company said it was buying Esurance and Answer Financial from White Mountains Insurance Group Ltd. for about $1 billion.
Allstate's stock gained 27 cents to $30.29 in afternoon trading.
