Man dies after falling down elevator shaft
MILWAUKEE — A man has died after falling down an elevator shaft at a Milwaukee apartment building.
Officials say two people were in the elevator when it got stuck between the 12th and 13th floor at the east side building about 11 p.m. Monday. WTMJ radio (http://bit.ly/kvOQ9K ) says the two opened the elevator door and a man jumped down to the 12th floor, lost his footing and fell down the elevator shaft.
