'Books & Brews' July 14 at Peggy Kinnane's Irish Pub

Arlington Heights Memorial Public Library will host "Books & Brews" July 14 at a downtown Arlington Heights Irish Pub.

Readers are invited to share the hottest books by your favorite authors at "Books & Brews" 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, at Peggy Kinnane's Irish Pub & Restaurant, 8 N. Vail Ave. in downtown Arlington Heights.

The topic for the first book sharing event will be Thrillers. The Aug. 9 "Books & Brews" will feature Mysteries, and will also be held at Peggy Kinnane's.

Staff from the Arlington Heights Memorial Library will host the discussions.

Appetizers will be served, courtesy of the Friends of the Library. It is cash bar.
